“I arrived at Proud on Saturday a little apprehensive that it would be a similar experience to another themed brunch that I’ve been to (Hip Hop Brunch). Hip Hop Brunch was great, but in comparison, Reggae Brunch blew it out the park! The vibe was set as soon as you walked in, and the venue allowed for more dynamics (e.g. I didn’t necessarily have to sit down as soon as I arrived). I was dancing from start to finish and the food was indeed better. There were 3 of us in total and although we shared a table with another party, they were such a friendly and welcoming bunch that it really only added to banter/atmosphere! And we LOVED the fact that you mixed in other genres of music and it wasn’t just reggae (I particularly enjoyed Giggs-Talkin the Hardest and the bashment section)! To end with, it was definitely NOT a brunch- it was a DAYTIME RAVE and I couldn’t be happier that I attended!”
